Starting at the Flood Museum, you'll walk through the town, guided by notice boards or a tourist guide. The route notice boards provide a clear picture of what happened in each area.

The route takes you to the uniquely designed Tusong Community Centre, then it's on to the first school building and the old magistrate's residence of a previous era. Next you'll visit the railway station, which is still in use today. The last stage includes the railway bridge (a big problem during the flood) which is now painted with the "Karoo Rainbow”, depicting hope after disaster. The tour ends at the Flood Museum where you'll watch a fascinating documentary.
