The CBF was closed to Warsaw's inhabitants for several decades. It was the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers Party, the ruling party during the communism regime, but now it is open to tourists who are free to explore its secrets. Imagine: a vast yard and impressive foyer with a large marble viewing terrace, the National Museum and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Add some relics reminiscent of the communist times, like a bust of Lenin, communist party officials' portraits, shelves piled high with books, stylish interiors, the First Secretary's offices and a gloomy underground space. Out of this improbable combination of rooms you will get an unbeatable setting for concerts, fashion shows, galas and conferences.

The Bank of Poland redoubt undoubtedly constitutes an extraordinary space on Warsaw venue map: the tenement house of the last king of Poland - Stanisław August Poniatowski - stood here in the 18th century, and the current headquarters of the Bank of Poland were erected in 1907-1911. The monumental building was designed by then-rector of the Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts, Professor Leontij Nikolajewicz Benois. The bank was the scene of heavy fighting during WWII, which is why it is called the Bank of Poland redoubt. After it was significantly damaged during the war, it was pulled down in the 1960s; the only surviving part was bought in 1993 by its current owners and is being extensively renovated in a style reminiscent of the beginning of the last century. Due to its uniqueness, historical interiors, acoustics and location in the heart of the capital city, the redoubt is a popular venue for concerts and performances, more still its unusual space is often chosen for photo sessions, press conferences, TV programmes and film segments, as well as launching events.
