Climate

Warsaw's climate is humid continental (Koppen Dfb) with relatively cold winters and mild summers. The average temperature is −5 °C (27 °F) in February and 18 °C (66.7 °F) in June. Temperatures may often reach 30 °C (86 °F) in the summer and - 20 in winter.

Currency

The currency in Poland is the Polish złoty (PLN); 1 PLN = 100 groszy.
It should be exchanged in banks or Exchange offices, which do not collect commissions.

Smoking restrictions

Smoking is prohibited in public areas, public transport stops, stations and government offices.Since  November 15 th, 2010 smoking is no longer allowed in restaurants, bars and clubs. Failure to comply may result in a fine.
