The latest Hyatt property will be housed in a former 22-story office building in the heart of the Loop. The hotel will feature 257 guestrooms, including 38 suites, in addition to a restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar and a lounge. Additional amenities include eight meeting rooms totalling more than 5,000 square feet, a coffee bar, sundries outlets and a fitness centre.

U.K.-based InterContinental Hotel Groups announced a new 145-room hotel located on Michigan Avenue just north of Millennium Park. An estimated $20 million renovation will include adding additional floors, a rooftop bar, state-of-the-art meeting space and an 8,000-square-foot, multi-level restaurant.
