A first look inside the Oslofjord conference hall will take your breath away. The hall spreads across 4,800 square meters and provides seating for 6,800 and standing room for 700. The chairs are soft and comfortable, the sound system is among the best available in Norway, and the images on the three large screens are so sharp that even those seated in the very back row can see everything taking place on the stage.
In spite of the size, the hall is warm and inviting, ideal for smaller groups as well. The configuration of the amphitheater and the interior style is modern and welcoming. The large screens allow everyone in the hall to follow the proceedings on the stage. During conferences for smaller groups, unused areas of the hall can be partially concealed through the use of portable walls.
The conference hall is ideal for banquets and can easily be adapted to a given number of guests. This ensures a welcoming, intimate atmosphere, essential to a successful banquet. We have the capacity to serve a three course banquet dinner for up to 2,500 guests.
The conference hall is well suited to a variety of needs, with its adjustable stage, seating options, permanent sound system, center screen and two side screens, high quality projectors and a number of cameras for production purposes. The hall is equipped with fully adjustable overhead lighting and indirect lighting, as well as event lighting, providing endless possibilities.
Oslofjord is multifunctional, and the facilities can be adapted to cater to the specific needs of your event. Our room facilities of all sizes enable us to accommodate nearly every meeting concept, from the conference hall for 6,800 to meeting rooms for 10 people. We can also adjust meeting areas to meet your needs, and accommodate breakout sessions or exhibition areas.

With more than 20 rooms of different sizes, Oslo Congress Centre can help you whether you require a congress hall for 1,400 or a meeting room for 14.
First-class and wide-ranging meeting facilities are available at Oslo Congress Centre, making the Norwegian capital a convenient and easy place for meetings of all kinds. The centre is less than a 10-minute walk to Oslo Central Station and the airport train, making it readily accessible. Restaurants and shops are also close by, with all major facilities and attractions within easy reach once your meeting is over.
Oslo Congress Centre boasts more than 20 rooms of different shapes and sizes, with capacity from 14 to 1,400 delegates and roughly 1,100 square metres of exhibition space. The rooms are flexible and suitable for almost any occasion, from small meetings and workshops to fairs, gala dinners and major congresses.
The building dates back to 1907 and features characteristic wood panelling and fine old paintings, as well as contemporary light and airy modern surroundings - a pleasant contrast between the historical and modern.
Feeding hungry people is an important part of any successful meeting or congress. As we all know, satisfied stomachs lead to focused minds. Oslo Congress Centre has catering capacity for more than 1,000 guests at one sitting, for both lunch and dinner. The centre provides everything from finger food to hot or cold lunches, tapas and a gourmet sit-down dinner.
Between sessions you can choose from exotic fresh fruit and vegetables or pastries. The chef is also happy to compose a special menu suited to your budget, wishes and needs. Seated lunches are usually served in the restaurants 'Henrik' or 'Møller'. Banquets for up to 1,040 guests are held in the multifunctional and very popular congress hall.
Oslo Congress Centre has an in-house technical department and is one of Norway's leading venues for technically demanding events. The centre provides access to the most advanced audiovisual equipment, which is constantly being updated and developed.
Oslo Congress Centre is located in the heart of Oslo, 35 minutes from Oslo Airport (Gardermoen). It is a five-minute walk from Oslo Central Station and the airport express train Flytoget, which takes just 19 minutes.
Some 70 per cent of the public performances presented at Oslo Spektrum are cultural and entertainment events. For most people, the arena is probably associated with large-scale concerts and shows featuring international performers. However, smaller club concerts, where the floor area is used for standing concerts, have played an important role in making Oslo Spektrum accessible to a broader group of performers, not least Norwegian artistes.
In addition, TV events such as the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, the Eurovision Song Contest and the Spellemannprisen Award Ceremony attract major attention and are very well attended.
Family entertainment events such as Disney on Ice, Putti Plutti Pott and Military Tattoo are also popular with the general public.
Conferences/congresses and corporate events have also become increasingly important for Oslo Spektrum. International arrangements as ESSKA, Norwegian State Railways' 150th Anniversary celebrations and Orkla's 350th Anniversary celebrations provide good examples of this. The arena is used for plenary sessions and exhibitions, supplemented by smaller conference suites and rooms at the hotels, thus providing a full range of facilities for organisers of events of this nature.
When configured for trade fairs, the arena offers a total floor space of approximately 5,000 sq. metres., which is a medium-sized arena. That said, this is the only trade fair facility in the centre of Oslo.
The location of the building, a short walk from public transport nodes and 2,000 hotel rooms, makes Oslo Spektrum an attractive city centre alternative for congresses and trade fairs. There are numerous multi-storey parking facilities in the vicinity of the concert arena. The nearest overnight accommodation can be found at the Radisson Blue Plaza Hotel, Terminal, Thon Hotels, Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania and Oslo hotels.
As the host of the annual Norwegian championship, the arena has become Norway's principal handball venue.
The building comprises the arena and some 8,000 sq. metres of office premises. This and the land on which the building is located is owned by the Norway Trade Fairs Foundation. Norway Trade Fairs owns some 2,500 sq. metres of the office space. The remaining 6,000 or so sq. metres was acquired by Aberdeen in 2006.
