Ekebergrestauranten

Restaurant and event facilities in a historic functionalist-style building with stunning views of the city and the fjord.

Ekebergrestauranten includes an à la carte restaurant, a bar/lounge, an outdoor serving area, conference and meeting facilities, banquet and wedding facilities, and a beautiful fine dining veranda upstairs.

The main dining room is the à la carte restaurant on the ground floor, with seating for 200 people. There is also a chambre séparée with room for 12 guests and a mezzanine with seating for 30.

On the second floor there is a banquet hall with room for 170 people for dinner, as well as two rooms suitable for smaller events. The terrace in front of the house has 300 seats and an outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired oven.

Stratos

On top of Folketeateret you find Stratos, a popular spot with panoramic views of Oslo from the 12th floor. Stratos offers event facilities throughout the year, but is open for everyone two months in the summer and on certain holidays.

In the summer, Stratos offers barbecue, cold beer, summer and sun on their wonderful terrace five days a week. In the evenings there are DJs and live entertainment - find updated info at www.stratos.as.

The terrace at Stratos covers 260 sqm and encircles the building. Here you can enjoy views of the city and the fjord. The venue is sheltered from the city, making it perfect for private events.

Stratos is ideal for conferences, kick-offs, weddings, Christmas parties, art exhibitions, fashion shows, performances and private events.


Südøst Asian Crossover

In one of Oslo's most appealing restaurant spaces you find Südøst Asian Crossover, where Asian and European cuisines are fused together.

The menu features a large selection of sushi and small Asian dishes, main courses from the grill and a few pasta dishes with Asian flavours. The kitchen closes at 10 pm Sunday-Wednesday and 11.30 pm Thursday-Saturday.

Südøst has one of Oslo's best outdoor patios. Here you can enjoy a tasty meal or a drink while enjoying the view of the river Akerselva.

The cocktail bar is open Thursday-Saturday nights and offers street food accompanied by great drinks and party music.


Grefsenkollen Restaurant

Gourmet restaurant in a building from 1926 with fantastic views of Oslo.

In the evening Grefsenkollen serves a weekly five-course menu made from the best available Norwegian ingredients. Table bookings are necessary.

For lunch you can choose between one, two or three dishes. On weekdays lunch is only served for those who have booked a table.

Grefsenkollen offers meeting rooms for everything from small, intimate meetings to big conferences. Private party facilities are also available for parties of up to 110 persons.

Lofoten Fish Restaurant

Elegant, yet relaxed seafood restaurant on the edge of Aker Brygge with an exquisite maritime food menu, great beverages and excellent service.

Lofoten serves only the best fish and seafood on offer, and the menu is changed 7-8 times a year to reflect the best of each season. The restaurant's philosophy is "to serve rustic food that not only looks good, but also tempts the palate and satisfies one's hunger".

January-March: steamed cod with liver and roe, flown in from Lofoten.
April-September: summer menu, 200 seats outside with a great view of the Oslo Fjord.
October-December: the Norwegian speciality "lutefisk" (cod treated with lye).
