Travelling to Manchester couldn't be easier, with major routes in and out of the city, whether you arrive by air, road or rail.

By Air

Over 100 airlines offer direct flights to over 190 destinations worldwide, connecting over 22 million passengers to more places than any other airport in the UK. The airport is ideally placed to become your gateway to England's Northwest.

By Train

Manchester is easy to travel to from other major UK cities. Direct services between Manchester and London run conveniently every 20 minutes with Virgin Trains. Local rail services connect Manchester Airport with Greater Manchester districts and the city centre.

There are four key train stations in Manchester city centre - Deansgate, Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria. Of these, Piccadilly attracts the most visitors' and is the main arrival point into the city centre.

VISA INFORMATION

Visitors from the European Union, Australia, United States, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand will require a valid passport, but not a visa in order to enter the UK.

You will only need permission (known as 'entry clearance' or 'a visa') to come to the UK for a business visit of up to six months if you are a visa national. Currently 108 countries require a visa to enter the UK.
